How do I sign up for a class? Can I register for this class online?
You can sign up for any of our CPR and First Aid classes by immediately calling 800-627-7000. You can view our class schedule and register online by visiting our website. We’re at www.redcrossla.org Please select: Take a Class, then choose Online Class Schedule. Please note that a student ID is not required to register. You can create a student ID as needed. Click on the red plus sign (+) to view the scheduled classes.
What material is covered in the “Standard First Aid w/AED class?
The “Standard First Aid with AED” class has three major components: Adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, and First Aid.
What is the difference between the standard “CPR” class and the “CPR for the professional Rescuer” course?
“CPR” class is for the general public. “CPR for the Professional Rescuer” is for individuals who have a job-related duty to respond to emergencies, such as lifeguards, EMT’s and firefighters.
I need CPR training for my job. Which CPR class should I take?
It depends on your organization. Please check with your employer about which certification is required.
